A global membership and awarding organisation are recruiting for a customer and commercially driven and focused Head of Qualifications to hold the RO position, as well as support, guide and drive a team of 9 into developing and delivering a portfolio of income generating, and high quality qualifications and assessments.
Coming from an AO background with experience of leading the organisational relationship with Ofqual or a similar regulator you will develop the AO in the market though strategically managing the portfolio of products (and related propositions) to meet customer and regulatory needs and maintain a competitive offering in UK and International markets. You will also maintain an effective Awarding Organisation operation that is compliant with regulatory standards whilst maintaining competitiveness in the marketplace.
As a strong people manager you will lead a relatively new team, providing support and guidance not only in there day to day tasks but also in terms of their personal and career development goals. You will also work closely with other teams across the business such as awards, marketing, customer service, membership and business development in order to identify and nurture business opportunities, adopt new technology and processes to effectively deliver income and impact.
Also as a member of the SMT you will contribute directly to creating and implementing plans to grow income and support the wider strategic aims of the organisation, as well as achieve the organisation's corporate objectives by ensuring that work is well co-ordinated across functions and divisions.
You will be commercially focused looking at areas such as identifying opportunities to ensure that the product portfolio and service delivery generates budgeted income and margin by meeting customer needs and achieving parameters for reach, centre engagement, and delivery standards; optimise centre acquisition, development and retention; represent the organisation with external stakeholders to build reputation, understand market trends, identify client needs and opportunities and support business development.
If you are an excellent people manager with demonstrable experience of strong commercial success with a history of profitable revenue growth, preferably from learning activities, strong B2B orientation and knowledge of new market identification, marketing and product development strategies as well as full product lifecycle knowledge in an AO then this could be the role for you!
