A leading educational foundation are looking to appoint an outstanding individual to lead and provide operational management for programmes which provide workforce development for the Further Education and Training sector in the technical education area.
Located in Central London, the role will be appointed on a full time permanent basis. The majority of time should be spent in the office but some homeworking will be considered.
The key purpose of this role is to lead, develop and manage work to support the implementation of the Technical Education reforms. Through engagement with stakeholders you will develop the programme and manage the work of delivery partners to ensure high quality and value for money.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Delivering programmes that have a positive impact on overall standards and learner outcomes on technical education in the FE and training sector.
* Engaging with key stakeholders to develop and promote the programme
* To have budgetary responsibility, ensuring efficient delivery and value for money for the programmes
To be considered, you will be someone with a passion for education and training. You will ideally hold a teaching qualification but essentially, you must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of technical educational policy, effective technical teaching, and effective professional development to support this.
Having an understanding of the Further Education sector is imperative ad well as having solid experience managing complex projects/programmes of work in education.
