A professional body that works toward the benefit of people, place & nature is recruiting for a Head of Professional Qualifications and Education to lead the development of new entry standards as the organisation enters an important period of transformation a part of its new corporate strategy.
This is a new role which will support major changes to update entry requirements for all of qualifications to make them more relevant to employers and those seeking to choose the sector as a future career.
As someone who has experience of managing/delivering entry standards for qualifications and/or accreditation schemes, as well as experience of conducting reviews of qualifications and/or accreditation schemes/systems and proposing alternatives, you will be involved in the introduction of a new competency framework and new assessment approaches for both existing and new qualifications.
Ideally, you will also have a strong understanding of the higher education sector in order to manage existing university accreditation and develop anew approach to university accreditation.
You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with boards, committees, volunteers, industry professionals and members to seek out insight and trends in all matters concerned with education as well as professional and technical related skills to feed into the development of the standards.
