A specialist professional body which is part of a worldwide network of member societies are recruiting for a Head of Professional Development to lead engagement and outreach with the sector and on the development of the suite of professional development/CPD products and services.
Combining senior stakeholder engagement, product development and project management you will be instrumental in redesigning and redeveloping a global model of professional development as well as project managing the development of the competency framework, which is THE most important project in the body's strategy at the moment, and central to the global organisation's development.
The role requires someone able to demonstrate in-depth experience of dealing with senior stakeholders on a global level (some by remote means of communication), using exceptional communication and relationship building skills to engage with L&D and compliance professionals in the field to understand what they want and create a community drive towards CPD.
You will have experience in developing new products and services from concept to delivery in a proactive manner, taking the initiative in order to guide and drive the direction of the body in regards to CPD as well as implement this in ways to engage members. This will also include the ability to operationalise strategic goals, commercial awareness and excellent project management skills.
As well as external relationships, this role will work closely with it's UK and international colleagues, and include line management responsibility of the CPD & Outreach Manager. There is also room for growth within the team including the view for this role to grow the team in the next 12months if the strategic aims of the role are implemented.
