An exciting role has become available within a membership body who provide ongoing training and development for family law professionals. They are now looking for a Head of Professional Development to take over an established position within a welcoming staff team.

As the Head of Professional Development, you will lead the growth and delivery of the professional development strategy and establish an approach to delivering a combination of a range of in person and online training programmes. Following 18 months of change to the training and learning offer, this is an exciting opportunity to shape and implement a new and enhanced approach to the learning offer.

Your ability to combine commercial acumen to generate income, with an understanding of the value of professional development services to retaining and recruiting members who are of primary importance to the organisation, will be crucial in this role.

Through leading and being supported by an established team, you'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation as well as members, trainers, committees and external organisations. While there is great autonomy in this role, you'll also have the grounding to be able to 'roll your sleeves up' and take a flexible and adaptable approach to working in a small organisation.

To be considered for the role, you will have a demonstrable passion for developing high quality, innovative and enjoyable professional development programmes with substantial experience of developing and delivering training and learning products, services and programmes for professionals. Ideally, you will have experience working in a professional membership body and will have a good grasp on using digital technologies to enhance opportunities.
