This social welfare charity are looking for a Head of PR, Digital and Internal Communications to come and join their team on a 9 month fixed term contract. Within this role you can look forward to overseeing 4 key functions for this nationally renowned charity, PR and Media Relations, Internal Communications, The Corporate Website and Digital Social Media. You will be providing experienced, insightful and results-orientated management focus and direction to the PR and Digital Communications team.

Managing a team that is primarily in London, but also based regionally around the UK, you will be identifying key communications objectives and tasks and leading an important team during the run up to their Christmas appeal. You will be playing a crucial role in raising the positive profile of the charity be driving, developing and delivering an impactful PR strategy, a strong digital strategy including the website and digital channels, and finally a strategy for their internal communications function.

The ideal postholder will have experience in leading a communications function for a large national charity. You will also have substantial experience in the successful management of a PR function, as well as the development and implementation of digital strategies. You will be able to provide strong leadership within the communications team, and be able to lead on the internal communications function. You must also have experience working at a senior level and managing remote teams.
