This is a new, senior role. You will be working along side the Chief Executive to develop strategic direction, planning for the organisation and change management. This is a permanent role based in north London with flexible working and is part time 4 days a week.

Key responsibilities for this Head of Operations opportunity:

Provide stable leadership to implement the strategic vision
Reviewing internal policies, procedures and quality standards
Ensure the efficient running of the organisation
Delivery and oversight of staff appraisals, supervision and performance management
Help develop an organisation that is fit for purpose, more productive and delivers high quality services
Maintain up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies
Undertake an organisation wide risk management review

As an experienced manager who has been involved in helping to run a charity, you will need to demonstrate a successful track record of managing managers and overseeing performance delivery. A strong knowledge of the sector and natural operational ability will serve you well. Experience of strategy development and overseeing change within an organisation will also be necessary. An ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations in a calm manner will be useful. A desire to involve people, drive, energy and enthusiasm will make you a great fit. An ability to prioritise and manage a demanding workload. A natural leader who is persuasive and used to engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
