At Blind Veterans UK, we believe that no one who has served our country should have to battle blindness alone. It is our mission to ensure that blind ex-Servicemen and women have access to the finest quality of services to help them discover life beyond sight loss.
The number of veterans we help is increasing rapidly as we implement our overall strategy to embed a national footprint and take our exceptional services to the beneficiary. To support this, we have developed an ambitious fundraising and engagement strategy to develop our brand and significantly grow our income over the next 5 years.
To achieve this, we are looking to recruit to 5 new senior posts across the Engagement and Fundraising division - each with responsibility for a key strand of the new strategy. This specific opportunity is to lead our Individual Giving team.
This is a great opportunity to lead and manage a highly effective team of circa 15 people to achieve challenging income goals. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the five year plan to grow income from individual giving and legacies. You will set in place plans to deliver the best supporter journey to our regular givers, maximising lifetime value and ROI.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have extensive experience in managing direct marketing activities across acquisition, retention and legacies, and will be able to demonstrate growth in income. You will need strong budget management experience, knowledge of GDPR and you will also be a strong leader, able to inspire and motivate the team.
