TPP are working with a charity who support individuals with learning disabilities to develop skills allowing them to have greater independence. The organisation is based in Southampton, and they are looking to appoint a Head of HR on a permanent basis developing the HR team and supporting the CEO on strategic initiatives.
The Head of HR will be responsible for co-designing and delivering the People Strategy within the organisation while overseeing all HR functions for personnel across the charity. The Head of HR will be able to provide full and up to date advice and guidance to staff, management and Trustee's on a wide range of topics. The Head of HR will assist in the redevelopment and revision of current policies and procedures while managing complex employee relations casework through to resolution. The role will require the design and implementation of a comprehensive strategy working closely with the CEO.
Previous and proven experience in a HR role at a senior level will be required for the position, along with evidence of developing and implementing HR strategy. The ability to have a flexible approach is required as the role will require supporting and developing the HR team with generalist day to day HR duties while supporting change management projects with the CEO.
The organisation is based in Southampton and supports individuals with learning difficulties to develop skills allowing them to gain greater independence and lead fulfilled lives. The Head of HR role is offered on a permanent basis with some flexibility between home and office working.
