Head of Fundraising and Marketing

Head of Fundraising and Marketing

Do you want to be part of something special?

We are working alongside an amazing disability charity in Birmingham to recruit a dynamic Head of Fundraising and Marketing to step in for a period of 13 months. You will be joining a forward-thinking charity who empower disabled people to take control of their lives and have so far helped and supported over 80,000 disabled people, their carers and families.

On a daily basis, you will make a real impact and witness the results of your hard work. You will develop and implement fundraising and marketing strategies; producing high quality applications and tender bids, ensuring that income targets are met. As the Head of Fundraising and Marketing, you will gain significant insight into the different projects the charity is involved with, which will help to motivate you to write compelling copy.  You will be part of an inspirational Senior Management Team and will line manage a Fundraising and Marketing Manager.

This is what the current Head of Fundraising and Marketing said about her role;

“I Iove working as Head of Fundraising and Marketing in this charity because it’s such a varied, rewarding role. No two days are ever the same – whether I am researching new opportunities, writing bids or proofreading applications our Fundraising Manager has written, there’s always something exciting in the pipeline! It’s a great cause and at any time, you can pop over to head office, have a chat with the beneficiaries, and know you are making a real difference. Most of the time though, I enjoy the peace, quiet and productivity that working from home allows me. Finding a flexible, part-time, senior management role is a rare opportunity in the world of fundraising – and working as part of SMT means I get a great insight into the inner workings of a charity and I’m learning a lot.”
