Head of Fundraising and Marketing

We are working alongside an amazing disability charity in Birmingham to recruit a dynamic Head of Fundraising and Marketing to step in for a period of 13 months. You will be joining a forward-thinking charity who empower disabled people to take control of their lives and have so far helped and supported over 80,000 disabled people, their carers and families.
On a daily basis, you will make a real impact and witness the results of your hard work. You will develop and implement fundraising and marketing strategies; producing high quality applications and tender bids, ensuring that income targets are met. As the Head of Fundraising and Marketing, you will gain significant insight into the different projects the charity is involved with, which will help to motivate you to write compelling copy. You will be part of an inspirational Senior Management Team and will line manage a Fundraising and Marketing Manager.

- Proven Track record in funding applications and tender bit writing

This role will allow you a significant amount of flexibility including homebased working with occasional travel to Birmingham.
Hours: Part Time 17 – 20 hours
Pro Rata: £33,106 - £36,019
Employment Type: Maternity Cover – 13 Months
Start date: 11/1/16
Location: Home based with 1 day travel to Birmingham per month
Closing Date: 24th November
