Are you an experienced and engaging fundraiser with a creative approach to generating income and a structured approach to management?

We are thrilled to be working with an organisation which has been at the heart of its community for almost 30 years. Based in Ulverston the Head of Fundraising will sit within a senior management team of 6 and will directly manage a team of 6-7-part time staff. The organisation receives only 20% of its income from the state and so relies on its fundraising team to generate upward of £1.3 million per year.

The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for the delivery of the annual fundraising target and for facilitating the achievement of the organisations strategic and operational aims by working in innovative and effective ways. The role covers a broad range of income streams including lottery, legacy, events, community, donations, corporate and partnership work. There is also the opportunity to look at growing and developing the existing fundraising team.

The Head of Fundraising will need to have a proven track record for personally securing and delivering annual income targets of six figures plus. They will need significant strategic experience as well as an excellent track record of hands on staff management. The Head of Fundraising will be positive, active, engaging and customer focussed.

There is flexibility for this role to be either 4 or 5 days a week. There is also the possibility of some homebased working.

Salary: Competitive

Hours: 30 - 37 hours (4 or 5 days)
