An award winning awarding body are recruiting for a Head of Awarding Organisation to take on the role of Responsible Officer as well as delivering integrated quality assurance solutions and meeting customers changing needs through progressive methodologies whilst managing compliance and meeting high standards.

Based in their Corby Office, or London Office with significant travel to the Corby Office to work regularly with the team there you will be someone who has previous experience similar to that of Responsible or Senior Officer within an awarding body you will innovate flexible and robust solutions to optimise accessibility, completion and impact in the workplace whilst maintaining appropriate supervision and control.

This is an exciting time in the organisation as they grow further into the FE, HE and apprenticeship markets whilst maintaining their solid foothold in the professional sector. You will be responsible for leading the AO into new areas such as apprenticeships and end point assessments, accreditation and devolved assessment, direct claims, strategic partnerships and international markets.

You will be someone who has substantial experience of effectively motivating, and leading teams and managing to high performance standards as well as developing and managing operational plans and budgets.

Coming from an awarding body background with extensive commercial and innovative drive, you will combine this with your knowledge of the regulatory requirements and AO processes to lead a culture of change within the team.

You will also be able to demonstrate experience of effective working with a broad range of senior customers, partners or stakeholders towards a commercial focus.
