A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a world class university for a head of admissions to join the engaging and innovative business school . The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire admissions process from application through to enrolment. Additionally, you will line manage admission managers and support the wider admissions team by providing excellence in systems and databases used by the university. Furthermore, as head of admissions, your input regarding the implementation of the admissions strategy and advanced problem-solving skills will be essential in supporting the director of admissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage admissions strategy in line with Business School vision and collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Work closely with Director of Admissions, developing selection strategies for the Business School's portfolio of programmes supporting the criteria of recruitment objectives
  • Be a recognised internal admissions expert on specific programmes
  • Manage customer service SLA's for admissions enquiry management
  • Recruit and induct new staff
  • Ensure that requirements, policies and processes are clear to other teams

In order to make a success of this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience of successful management and administration in Higher education or similar environment
  • The ability to develop and manage staff
  • Experience within the education sector and awareness of international education systems
  • The ability to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism
  • Experience writing high quality reports, papers, presentations and business proposals
  • Track record in reviewing and designing processes to deliver operational excellence and outstanding customer service
  • Confidence in decision making and ability to manage multiple projects
