A health related grant giving charity are seeking an experienced Grants Manager to lead their team working within a small team of around 5 you will have strategic and operational experience of all grants given by the charity.
Main duties for the Grants Manager:
Set up new grants management system using the organizations CRM system
Analyse the quality and impact of proposals
Prepare and present written case reports with detailed analysis and recommendations
Lead of the day to day operation of projects
Direct line management responsibility for one administrator
Manage budget and report on expenditure and income
Essential criteria for the Grants Manager:
educated to degree level or equivalent
In depth knowledge of Grant Giving processes
Experience of working with panels or trustees
Knowledge of CRM systems for grant making
Experience of overseeing and evaluating budgets- confidence with dealing with financial reports
Ability to anaylse complex information
Excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to work within a small cohesive team
Strong project management skills
