A creative arts higher education institution is looking to recruit a Governance Officer and Executive Assistant on a permanent basis paying £28-£30k. They are currently working remotely and when they return to the office in central London it will be on a part- time basis.
As the Executive and Governance Assistant you will provide administrative support to the Registrar and Secretary. You will take responsibility for supporting the smooth operation of the Council (governing body) and its senior leadership team. This includes booking meetings, preparing agendas, collating and despatching papers, taking minutes (as required) and follow up action points. You will also support the Registrar in their day to day work, organising the diary and managing the email inbox. You will analyse external and Internal data and prepare reports for wider teams, including the council as well as project manage small projects independently and support larger projects as needed.
A bit about you:
You will be experienced in providing high-level administrative support supporting a management team or governing body. You will have a friendly approach, be highly organised and able to produce accurate and concise information at speed. You will be confident with Microsoft Office including Excel and competent at taking meeting minutes. Experience working within a higher education institution would be ideal.
