A leading public research university is currently looking for a temporary Global Experiences Coordinator for six months where you will provide additional support for the Careers & Student Life team.

You will be mainly focusing on assisting with the delivery of the global experience modules for their Masters and MBA suite of programmes. In addition, you will be supporting the delivery of the global exchange programme.

You will work with multiple teams and students so the ability to work with large volumes of data and clear communication skills are vital for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a point of contact for students undertaking global experiences.

  • Support in project managing the global experience module planning and delivery.

  • Assist with the team's general comms to students via an internal platform, the Hub.

  • Monitor the global exchange mailbox responding to student queries in a timely manner.

  • Process expenses and submit purchase orders relating to global experiences.

  • Support organisation of events led by the team and students.

You will have:

  • Previous experience within Higher Education or events/conferences.

  • Significant experience of administration in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience of working in a customer-service oriented environment.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Excellent typing and IT skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with students and staff from a range of backgrounds.

  • Experience of managing or coordinating projects.

You will also support ad-hoc projects. Experience of working on overseas projects are not essential but desirable. The role is an immediate start, and you will be required to work on campus for 3 days a week.
