An amazing social welfare charity currently has a unique opportunity for a Gift Aid Officer. This is a permanent role based in London.
This is a newly created role that offers an exciting opportunity to manage and develop the Gift Aid income, processes and policies within the organisation. It will be based within their Data Insights and Supporter Care Team.
As the Gift Aid Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing and submitting Gift Aid claims, which provides over £1M of income per year. You will also lead on storage and recording of Gift Aid records and create and lead on internal audit procedures.
As the Gift Aid focal point for the Fundraising department, you will also provide guidance on legislation and regulations. Working with a variety of different fundraising teams you will have the opportunity to develop a strong knowledge of fundraising and Gift Aid.
To succeed, you will have experience of Gift Aid administration in the voluntary sector and experience of administrative systems and procedures. You will also have the ability to manage a busy and varied workload with great attention to detail. Being a great communicator and a proactive team player is also essential.
