Our client, a leading national charity empowering girls and young women, are looking for an experienced project manager to provide effective leadership and coordination of a key programme on GDPR compliance, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to a high standard.

Reporting to the Director of Commercial, Property and IT, key duties are:

  • To programme manage the GDPR compliance programme, ensuring successful delivery of key deliverables by May 25th 2018 and ensuring detailed plans are in place for achieving the key deliverables after May 2018.
  • To understand and communicate clearly the overarching objectives of the GDPR compliance project ensuring that key stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities and what success looks like.
  • To provide oversight of the five projects within in the GDPR compliance programme, ensuring that they are fully accountable to the GDPR Project Board and that work is progressing at the required rate.

  • To provide support and guidance to the project leads and, together with the Programme Sponsor, facilitate effective problem-solving and cross-team collaboration where required.

  • To oversee, and escalate where required, risks and issues associated with the programme and ensure that appropriate mitigations are in place to manage them.

  • To maintain up to date programme documentation, ensuring that decisions and actions are recorded and shared, and hold project leads to account for meeting their agreed deadlines.

  • To manage the interdependencies between the different projects within the programme.
