Volunteering Matters is looking for volunteers aged between 18-35 for a wide variety of full-time opportunities within health and social care settings across the UK.

You could be supporting families or individuals with disabilities who need help, often in their own home, in order to live independently. In these roles you might be helping with practical tasks such as shopping, cooking, personal care or helping access social or leisure activities. Alternatively you might be helping people who are homeless in a night shelter, supporting children with special needs in a school, assisting older people in a group home or even supporting students with disabilities to live and study at university. Whatever you do you will be helping to make a real difference to people's lives.

In return you will receive free accommodation and subsistence which includes food and day to day expenses. You'll also receive relevant training and support and gain valuable skills and experience for your CV.

You'll need to be aged between 18-35 and be available for between 6-12 months on a full time basis. You'll also need to be willing to move away from home and relocate anywhere in the UK and be placed where your help is needed most. You do not need any previous experience or qualifications.

Volunteering Matters is the UK's leading volunteering and social action charity. Every year, we involve over 150,000 volunteers in high quality opportunities that enrich lives and tackle real need. Between them, they help transform the lives of over 1 million people across the UK.
