Fundraising PR Officer
We have an amazing temporary opportunity for a talented and dedicated PR Assistant to join the PR/Marketing team of the Fundraising Department of a well-loved Birmingham based charity. As PR Assistant, you will support the team in the delivery of all PR Communications by using your exceptional writing and organisational skills to protect the reputation of the charity by coordinating and implementing the fundraising teams day-to-day PR plans and projects.
With your strong personal skills, you will build relationships to source and research content, to liaise with the fundraising team, as well as corporate and operational teams within the charity, to enable all to achieve their communications objectives. A key part of the role will be the coordination of the charitys social media accounts, you will liaise with the organisations communications team to ensure that all output is on brand.
With your skills and knowledge, you will answer and signpost external callers, including media and internal staff enquiries. You will provide excellent communications and media advice to managers, staff and committees, whilst being involved in the planning and preparation of PR plans for a number of high profile fundraising projects and events.
Salary:£19,409 (£9.77 per hour)
Contract:Temp 4 - 8 weeks
