Fundraising Operations Assistant

We are working with a small, yet established charity based in North West London to recruit a Fundraising Operations Assistant, the successful candidate will deal with supporter queries, manage donations on the database and provide general administration support to the team. You will also support with events and diary coordination on an ad hoc basis.

Main duties for the Fundraising Operations Assistant:
* Provide administrative support to the Director of Operations and the Development & Events Manager
* Support and help organise events, taking part on the day (some out of hours events)
* Answer all incoming telephone calls
* Day to day management of Raiser's Edge database, inputting donations, thanking and banking and ensuring data is accurate
* Assist with financial reporting
* Assist in uploading information onto the website using an in-house content management system
* Manage grant applications

Essential criteria for the Fundraising Operations Assistant:
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work on own initiative with little supervision
* Knowledge of fundraising databases
* Previous experience of working within a fundraising or grant giving environment
