A small-but-established mental-health focused charity just outside of London is currently looking for a part-time Fundraising Officer to join their team, concentrating on Community, Corporate, Trust and Legacy income streams.
This is a new role for the organisation, with the majority of their income having been generated previously via statutory sources. As such, they are looking for someone to get things moving from an (almost) standing start, concentrating on the income streams mentioned above. Targets will be discussed and agreed upon commencement of the position.
The charity is looking for someone with fairly broad experience, knowledge and ability, able to identify the easier wins to begin with (most likely in community fundraising), to start to establish a pipeline of corporate opportunities (they have a few connections that can be capitalized on) and to spearhead the commencement of a legacy programme.
Please note, the full time equivalent salary range would be £28k to £30k. This role is actually part time (18 hours per week), bringing the pro-rata'd salary to (approx) £13.5k to £14.4k.
