A much loved Children’s charity is seeking a Fundraising Events Manager . The position is permanent and paying between £37k to £41k. You will join the Mass Participation team which offers fantastic events to its supporters; including marathons, climbing Kilimanjaro, trekking over the Yorkshire dales to reaching up to the top of the Gherkin.
You will be responsible for managing the development team within the Mass Participation Team who will look to develop and grow the charities portfolio of events and products. Working with other managers in Participation Events you will contribute to the overall budget, planning and strategy for the department to grow income, participant numbers and the charities market share in this area.
You will have a proven track record in planning and executing a portfolio strategy for growth as well as process and product review plus people management skills. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to maximise third party events income stream and prepare for growth over the coming years.
