TPP Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a national children's charity to recruit for a Fundraising and Events Manager.
You will work on an events portfolio which will have a target of £160k. Such events will include fun runs, challenge events, overseas treks and adrenaline events, along with smaller fundraising activities. You will also be responsible for a new individual giving club focusing on donations of around £500 pp with a target of £75k by year three. Finally, you will feed into the charity of the year strategy by encouraging the employees of corporate partners to get involved in events.
To be successful in this role, you will have sound event experience ideally within challenge events and fun runs. You will be entrepreneurial and have a creative spirit to come up with new smaller events for existing stakeholders. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to write compelling copy to build a strong emotive case for support. From this, it will be ideal if you have experience of digital marketing such as social media and email marketing.
