The TPP Fundraising team is delighted to be supporting Hospitality Action, the benevolent charity for the hospitality industry, with the search for a Fundraising and Events Executive. This is a maternity cover, so is a 12 month contract, reporting to the Fundraising and Events Director.
It's an exciting time to join the team. You'll be helping to deliver a number of key fundraising events and supporting a host of innovative initiatives and fundraising campaigns. You'll be working to support the hospitality industry - a vibrant and inspiring sector, but also one that carries it's own specific challenges and that has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Administer and help develop an innovative programme of fundraising initiatives and campaigns and manage special events with the aim of attracting current, and potential, hospitality and allied industry supporters to maximise fundraising and increase profit generation.
- Support the fundraising team by being involved in building new corporate partnerships across our varied fundraising initiatives, including employee fundraising, sponsorship, strategic and Charity of the Year partnerships, trusts and corporate donations.
- Oversee the administration of the fundraising and events module of the CRM database.
- Market events through social and digital channels, liaising with the Fundraising & Marketing Manager to align content.
To be considered for this role, you will possess prior fundraising/sales and event management experience, a demonstrable ability to organize and manage exceptional events and also to build sustained relationships with corporate supporters. While prior experience in the charity sector is advantageous, it is not essential so if you are interested in gaining experience of work with charity events, please do get in touch.
