The Fire Fighters Charity provides life enhancing health and wellbeing support to the people in our fire and rescue service community.
Our Charity is governed by a Board of 15 Trustees, 9 of whom are serving or retired members of the Fire and Rescue Service or Works Fire Fighters.
Our Trustees govern our Charity and provide strategic direction. Day to day operations are led by our Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team.
To be considered for the role of Finance Trustee you must demonstrate that you:
- have the capability to operate effectively at a strategic level;
- will commit the necessary time to undertake the Trustee role;
- have the passion and commitment to become a member of our Trustee Board; and
- are a qualified accountant, preferable with experience of charity finance / accounting.
