A leading children’s health charity based in North East London / Essex Borders is seeking a talented Finance Officer for a new role.
-To manage and develop finance volunteers to ensure their skill set meets the needs of the charity
-Fixed asset register
-Month-end journals and accruals
-Assist with the production of monthly management accounts and budgeting
-Bank and control accounts reconciliations
-Assist with year-end accounts with the Finance Director in-line with charity SORP
-Assist with Payroll
-Liaise with IT suppliers and assist with telephone and desktop support for IT users
-AAT level 4 or ACCA / CIMA part-qualified
-A strong systems/technical approach to accounting
-Sage Line 50 experience ideal
-Excellent IT skills
-Exposure to broad finance officer duties and preparation of management accounts in the charity sector preferred
-An enhanced DBS check will be required to be completed for this role
The organisation will also consider applicants looking to work 4 days per week, and the salary will be pro-rated accordingly.
