A nationally recognised elderly Charity based in West London is seeking an experienced and driven Finance Manager for a new role.
The charity has gone through a recent restructure and is seeking someone with outstanding systems and business process knowledge to rejuvenate the department.
The role will involve:
-A combination of operational and strategic finance for a medium sized charity
-Improving business processes and accounting systems
-Managing one member of staff
-Researching new funding streams
-Financial planning and budgeting
-Management accounts and statutory accounts
-Reconciling bank accounts
-VAT returns and charity commission returns
-Ad-hoc support with HT, legal & IT functions
-Prior experience in a similar role in a charity or commercial organisation
-Experience in a hybrid operational and strategic finance role
-Proven track record of managing and motivating staff
-Fully or part-qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA
-Naturally driven and ambitious personality
-Experience with Sage Line 50 and Excel
-Experience of implementing or improving accounting packages or software desirable
