Job Title: Finance Business Parter.
Location: Cobham surrey with need to travel to other locations when needed ( a driving licence would be required due to the nature of location)
Hours 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (hybrid)

As Finance business partner your everyday tasks will include:
- Drive cultural change in Finance through robust yet empathetic engagement with stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Leadership Team of a UK school, providing comprehensive support.
- Business partner with select Head Office functions.
- Take ownership of producing accurate management accounts for the partnered school and designated Head Office functions, including high-quality forecasting and value-adding commentary.
- Develop and manage a robust annual budget for the partnered school and designated Head Office functions.
- Produce monthly management accounts with commentary, supported by all Finance Business Partners
- Act as the line manager for the Assistant Finance Business Partner
- Overall ownership and development of the General Ledger
- Review and approve specific journal entries and month-end reconciliations.
- Continually review and ensure the correct accounting treatment of all revenue.
- Identify and implement process/reporting improvements to enhance efficiency within the team and the broader business.
Finance Business Partner skills and experience will include:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or similar)
- Ability to accurately manipulate large sets of data
- Confidence/experience to produce and develop analysis/metrics from scratch
- Extensive experience in variance analysis, including investigation and reporting
- Sound understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes
- Experience in Management Accounts within a medium-sized business
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good grasp of cost control methodologies
- Good financial systems knowledge

The standard work hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with the option for hybrid working. The position demands flexibility and travel to ensure effective delivery, involving visits to our three UK campuses and Qatar. A valid driving license is a prerequisite.
