A fantastic small charity based in North London focused on providing clinical and health services to children is seeking an experienced Finance & Operations Manager for a full-time, permanent role.
You will make up part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and will play a critical role in the strategic role in leading the charity. You will have total ownership of the charity’s finances, and will manage a team of two assistants. The role will also cover company secretarial duties, building management and HR related tasks.
-Managing the finance function and ensure compliance with companies house and charity commission
-Oversee HR, Facilities and IT functions ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and health & safety
-Managing the finances for the charity’s small sister organisation
-Financial planning, budgeting and strategy to the board
-Company secretarial duties
-Production of monthly management accounts
-Production of annual statutory accounts and oversee audit
-To manage the building alongside the Premises Manager
-To manage the ICT coordinator and plan growth of the charity’s IT infrastructure
-Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
-Experience producing charity accounts to SORP requirements, and knowledge of the latest SORP.
-Experience with annual statutory accounting and audit
-Experience completing management accounts with commentary, variances and analysis
-Line management experience
-Company secretarial and compliance experience
-Experience producing budgets
