A small, healthcare related professional membership charity based in central London are seeking an experienced Finance Administrator for a 1 year fixed term contract. You will be part of a busy finance team in a highly prestigious organisation.
The role will involve:
-Checking/posting invoices with accuracy
-Organising payments to suppliers on a timely basis
-First point of contact for purchase ledger queries
-Efficiency of the purchase ledger function
-Filing systems - both electronic and paper-base
-Supporting the Finance Officers in maintaining sales and purchase ledgers
-Assisting with payroll administration
-Petty Cash
Candidate requirements:
-A professional administrator, experienced bookkeeper or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT)
-Experienced in using PS Financials (desirable)
-Knowledge of professional membership organisations (desirable)
-Strong Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) and other IT skills (awareness of the use of membership databases desirable)
-Attention to detail and accuracy skills
-Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate financial issues with non-finance people
-An appetite for improving/enhancing systems
