Facilities & Operational Co-Ordinator

I am working with a well-known charity who are looking for a Facilities & Operational Co-Ordinator to join their London office on a temporary basis. The position of the Facilities & Operational Co-Ordinator will be responsible for the smooth running of the office operations on a day-to-day basis.

Job requirements:

  • Ensure efficient business systems are in place for mail, stationery, and consumables

  • Maintain a safe office environment for all staff by following Health and Safety compliance

  • Co-ordinating engineers and contractors with all reported issues in a timely manor

  • Basic maintenance and troubleshooting on all IT and telephone issues including liaising with outsourced IT provider

  • Setting up schedules and occasionally cover the phones dealing with general queries
  • Arrange for cleaners/engineers to be booked for fixtures in a timely manor
  • Run risk assessments on FM procedures and the office environment

  • Responsible for looking after all FM equipment


  • Organised and able to work effectively to resolve issues in a timely manor
  • General understanding of office management
  • Ideally have experience in a similar role

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of how an office functions and have good communication skills. The Facilities & Operational Co-Ordinator will also have excellent organisation skills along with being able to work well independently but also as a part of a team. The position will report directly into the Facilities Manager and work alongside an Office Administrator.
