I am currently working with an amazing International Humanitarian/International Development Charity who are offering a brilliant opportunity for an experienced communications professional to come and join their team.

Within this role you can look forward to managing a team of 4 people within the external relations team, who oversee the external relations directorate. Reporting into the Head of Communications, this role is critical to the developing of an effective strategic plan to engage externals stakeholders and forming and managing relationships in politics and the wider society. Working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders you will devise and implement the external relations strategy, including campaigning, events and public affairs.

This role also offers a unique opportunity to devise and shape the advocacy work of the charity. They are currently in the early stages of devising this and the new post holder will be able to shape the advocacy work to their liking.

This role would be perfect for a communications professional who has experience in liaising with the press, networking skills, event management experience and experience liaising with parliamentarians. This is a fantastic opportunity that cannot be missed!!!!
