We are working with a leading awarding organisation who have been at the forefront of technical and vocational education for over 170 years to recruit for External Quality Assurers on a permanent basis. The organisation is an End-Point Assessment organisation at the cutting edge of apprenticeships, whilst also offering leading e-assessment, diagnostics, and digital education services through its innovative technical platforms as part of its Skills Forward and Peer Tutor businesses.

This is an exciting opportunity for External Quality Assurers in either 'Functional Skills' or 'Prep for Life and Work'. As a subject expert in one of these areas, qualified to at least level 3 in either English, Maths or IT, you will ensure quality assurance compliance. You will drive a high standard in assessment activities and continuous improvement in practice within their centres so that they can ensure a first-class service which meets the needs of both their customers and learners, supporting market growth and promoting advancement in learning.

These roles will assess and manage risk and performance of centres and their staff through analysis and review of data and evidence from a variety of sources, including regulators and customers, which forms part of the quality process to ensure qualification and regulatory compliance.

In order to make a success of this role you will be qualified to at least Level 3 in Maths, English or IT and have a qualification in assessment or internal quality assurance. You will also have substantive experience of working in a quality assurance role within an education organisation. You have a strong understanding of the trends and changes in assessment practice and excellent report writing skills.
