An Awarding Body based near Birmingham are recruiting for an External Quality Assurer (EQA) on a permanent, full-time basis to ensure that all their centres remain compliant with the approval criteria.

As an EQA you are centre facing (both Approved Providers and Approved Trainers) and conduct approvals and audits in line with the organisation's quality assurance processes to confirm compliance with the approval criteria whilst keeping accurate and up to date records. You will also spend time with the organisation's centres to offer them information, advice and guidance on approval and audit processes and requirements (both before and after approval). You will support continuous improvement by sharing best practice and sometimes working on action or improvement plans for specific centres.

In this role you also work with centres to identify any additional opportunities, such as other relevant schemes or endorsed training programmes, and develop and maintain good working relationships with the centres and key industry stakeholders.

This role will be ideal for you if you are currently working in the vocational education or training sector, ideally within an awarding or professional body as an EQA (or in a training provider as an IQA). You will hold an existing IQA or EQA qualification and have extensive experience of carrying out audits.

You are able to demonstrate a high standard of interpersonal and communication skills, particularly written skills. You will have worked in partnership with centres in the past to support their continuous improvement and have excellent organisational and time management skills. If you have a Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice this would be a bonus.

This role will be co-located between their offices near Birmingham and homeworking. You will also need to travel across the UK as required for client visits.
