A leading professional body who support the ongoing training for medical professionals in the UK and overseas are recruiting for an Examinations Coordinator on a full time maternity cover contract for 13 months to be involved in the delivery of medical education.
You'll be joining a small but effective and friendly Examinations Team and will support the Head of Examinations in the running of the department overall and providing support to the Examinations Committee.
As the Examinations Coordinator, you'll be involved in the end to end delivery of the entry point examination for qualified medical doctors and will therefore play a key role in ensuring candidates receive the highest quality of service throughout their examinations journey.
Your role will involve confirming examinations timetables for candidates, effectively communicating college rules, policies and decisions to candidates, receiving and reviewing applications from medical schools, maintaining the CRM database, managing examination question banks, arranging examinations venues and invigilators, producing questions papers with Senior Examiners, proof reading question papers to ensure technical accuracy and other processes in consultation with the Head of Examinations.
You'll also be responsible for the recruitment and oversight of the examiners for each exam and will be accountable for adhering to budgets.
To be considered for the role, you'll need to have extensive experience in a higher or professional education role of a similar position. You should have excellent knowledge of CRM systems and IT. Importantly, you must be someone who can work with people at all levels internally and externally with exceptional communication skills.
Largely working unsupervised, you'll need to be someone who can use your initiative and self motivate while maintain a high standard of work with excellent attention to detail.
