We have an exciting opportunity to join a truly progressive and innovative charity - as Events Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Events Team (2 coordinators) and managing the Venue.
Within this varied role, you will also be tasked with establishing and implementing strategies that maximise events revenue and profitability of said events.

Within this demanding role, it is essential that you have previous experience running a successful and profitable events venue, including programming events; building and selling event packages; managing event logistics and working with clients to ensure success.

You will also have an opportunity to raise the profile of the space, as a first-class venue and via key reporting, help steer and drive the business.
As well as writing presentations, producing schedules and itineraries for successful event delivery.

If you have extensive events management experience and can demonstrate a track record of having independently organised conferences and events we would love to hear from you.

Team management experience, financial and commercial experience including maximising sales and profitability, managing budgets and supplier contract management is also a "must-have".
Like many Events roles, the delivery of a successful programme of events may require "some" occasional evening or weekend work, in line with operational needs.

Please note, it is very likely we will be in touch with you the first week of Jan 18.
