TPP is proud to be partnering with a children's health charity in Birmingham city centre to recruit for an Event Fundraising Manager. The position is a 12-month maternity contract paying £37.500.
The Event Fundraising Manager will have overall responsibility for Event Fundraising, including special events and third-party events. The Event Fundraising Manager will identify, develop and manage a programme of high-quality fundraising events. Special Events bring in around £200k and consists of a Gala Ball. Third Party events bring in around £600k and include a range of challenge events from marathons to treks. You will seek out new events and partnerships to further maximise the event portfolio/revenue. Finally, you will also line manage the Event Fundraising Team and support the Public Fundraising Manager as a deputy when required.
In order to be successful in this role you will have experience of managing charity events with a good record of income generation. You will have sound understanding of the charity events sector and will have experience developing new partnerships. You will also possess excellent relationship building skills in order to engage and inspire internal and external stakeholders. Finally, you will ideally have some people management experience.
