This UK charity that supports British soldiers, veterans and their families, is looking for an Events Assistant for a full time permanent role based in London. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in events fundraising, and to work on a very successful annual event with high-profile guests ? previous guests and ambassadors have included members of the Royal Family. This role also offers an excellent benefits package which includes travel contribution.

You will enjoy working in a busy and lively team environment. The role is varied and hands-on, so you will have ample opportunity to develop your skills, and there are excellent progression and development opportunities within the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

Provide a high standard of supporter care.
Support event participants both online and offline.
Provide adhoc support to the National Events Team.
Be the main contact for event fundraisers.
Use CRM to process donations.
Develop knowledge of challenge events.

Key skills and experience:

High passion and energy for events.
CRM experience.
Background in fundraising or events.
Excellent people management and interpersonal skills; able to engage and motivate a very wide range of people
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Excellent administrative skills
