An employer-led end point assessment body are looking for an Engagement Manager on a permanent basis. This is a new role for the organisation and a particularly exciting time to join as they support their members with modernisation and policy-informed change.

With a focus on climate change at the forefront of the sector's priorities, you will play a key role in engaging with employers and stakeholders to identify and develop new training and apprenticeship standards. You will also manage the maintenance, development and coordination of national occupational standards across the devolved nations.

As someone with extensive knowledge of apprenticeships and regulated qualifications, you will work with teams across the organisation in the translation of policy to inform strategic direction and the development of new products for members. This will include working with employers to develop responses to consultations and building effective relationships with relevant government departments.

In order to make a success of this role you will have extensive experience of assessment and qualification development, both at a hands-on level and as a manager. You will be able to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels and have strong communication skills. Able to work at pace, you will be used to working on multiple projects and to tight deadlines.

Whilst the organisation is working completely remotely at the moment, they are planning a phased return to their offices near Birmingham in line with government regulations. However, they are open to flexible working and would consider applicants who could only commute in to the office once or twice a week.
