This is a 12 month maternity contract. This is a part time role working 28 hours a week. They are flexible on how you work the 28 hours.
This is a great opportunity to apply and develop your experience in project co-ordination, administration and management in a busy and successful fundraising department, working with some exceptional supporters.
They are looking for an individual with a proven ability to plan and support multiple projects, with a commitment to collaborative working, great MS Office skills, experience of planning and coordinating meetings with multiple project partners, and an inquiring mind. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively collate and disseminate varied information.
Some of the responsibilities are:
Provide programme governance support, including reporting, planning meetings, producing minutes, follow up with project leads and maintaining programme documentation and activity plans
Implement management systems, processes and ways of working that have been agreed as part of the Appeal programme
Develop and embed new systems and processes for capturing, reporting and following up Appeal programme learning
Review and discuss progress of projects with relevant leads on a regular basis, providing support and challenge when necessary
Provide admin support for Appeal Board meetings
Provide advice and guidance on project and programme management to the wider department and relevant project groups
Monitor and flag any significant programme project issues or risks identified to project leads and groups
Lead on the maintenance and development of Appeal collateral, including key materials and website content
Work with all Engagement and Income teams to ensure, where relevant, project work is aligned, and support them in managing their priorities in order to achieve their goals
Work with teams across the directorate to create opportunities, communications and systems and processes to improve collaborative working.
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience:
Experience of planning and supporting multiple projects
Experience of working in a team setting to plan and implement the development of large projects, including identifying risks and issues and problem-solving
Proven experience of developing effective working relationships with, and reporting to, a range of internal and external stakeholders
Experience of using research methods to analyse data trends
Experience of meeting coordination and minute-taking
