A leading health charity have recently secured funding for an employability programme which offers work experience and a professional development programme to support people with health issues who are long term unemployed make steps back into the work place.

This is a four month FTC role for a Programme Coordinator paying £25,876 pro rata for 35 hours per week based in kings Cross.

When you've had to take time off work due to illness there can be many barriers to getting back into the workplace. This project will provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals to build confidence, work relationships and skills and support them on their way back to the workplace.

Role responsibilities:
Coordinate the Work Positive Project to ensure the delivery of its targets, objectives and outcomes in a timely manner.
To support clients on one-to-one basis or in group settings to ensure they successfully complete the programme.
To maintain partnerships internally to support those on work placement and liaise with external partners to ensure successful outcomes.
Monitor project expenditure to ensure spending is within project budget
To line manage one volunteer administrator and one person on placement on the project

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
Experience or knowledge of working with people living with health issues and/or
people in unemployment
Proven track record of working to targets and/or outcome focused services
Experience of coordinating projects/services
Experience of designing and delivering training workshops, presentations
and briefings on a variety of topics
Experiencing of managing a team of volunteers
