A leading education charity based in East London are recruiting for an Employability Coordinator to be responsible for the delivery of youth employability programmes for Traineeships and Apprenticeships and Functional Skills in ICT.

For this role, you will need to be available to start immediately.

As the Employability Coordinator, you will plan and deliver high quality employability sessions, equipping learners to thrive in the workplace. You'll prepare differentiated schemes of work according to high quality standards while tracking and maintaining accurate learner progress records.

Your role as Employability Coordinator will also be to coordinate the day to day delivery and smooth running of the traineeship programme. This will involve organising assessment days for learners, ensuring learners meet the work-ready criteria for the Traineeship, coordinate external trips and events during placements and liaise with employer partners regarding learner progress and development.

You must enjoy teaching and be committed to ensuring young people are work-ready. You will have had experience of working with hard to reach learners and you will be able to plan effective interventions to ensure learners progress.

To be considered, you should hold a recognised teaching qualification such as CTTLS or DTLLS and have proven experience of achieving excellent educational outcomes for learners when teaching work based learning and functional skills.

You will be able to relate well to hard to reach young people and be able to plan sessions and assessments that inspire young people to achieve and succeed in the workplace and that meet accredited outcomes.
