A leading charitable organisation are looking to recruit an Education Manager to join their qualifications team. This is a full time permanent position paying £36k based in Central London.
The qualifications department is an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation, offering a large portfolio of qualifications within the health field.
The role will be responsible for:
Managing the full qualification lifecycle, from development through to maintenance, review and evaluation.
Ensuring the development, accuracy, currency and review of question banks, examination papers and other assessment materials and associated support materials and resources.
Working closely with the Head of Qualifications and other departmental managers to ensure the validity of all qualifications.
Providing support to centres delivering, or wishing to deliver, qualifications.
Increasing uptake and market share of qualifications.
Acting as Key Account Manager for a range of centres.
The successful applicant will be an effective team player with relevant experience in an awarding organisation or other educational environment. He / she should be computer literate with experience in the development of qualifications or courses and an excellent communicator. Experience in working with centres offering qualifications is also essential.
