A global organisation focused on international conflict resolution are looking for an Events Manager, to drive the delivery of two of their flagship education and communication projects.
Based in central London, this role is offered on a full time, 6 month contract with a potential to be extended.
The two cross-sector projects involve;
1. Driving the delivery of workshops in secondary schools around the country
2. Providing logistical support for workshops and events in the UK and Europe
Your typical week would consist of office based, regular working hours from Monday to Wednesday while Thursday to Friday will need a more flexible approach, as you'll be traveling to schools to set up in preparation for the delivery of the workshops. This may involve some late evenings and overnight stays.
Ideally, you'll have at least 1 or more years' experience of event management. Essentially, your communication and stakeholder relationship skills will need to be exceptional, as you'll be managing relationships with schools and workshop facilitators and teachers, throughout the whole workshop delivery process.
If you are an excellent coordinator and a strong problem solver with exceptional relationship management skills, this could be a great role for you.
