A leading professional body who provide high quality education and training for medical professionals across the UK, are looking to recruit an Education and Professional Development Manager on a 9 month Maternity Cover contract.
The role is based in central London and is usually appointed at the starting salary of just over £45k.
As the Education and Professional Development Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of the strategy and work plans for the education and professional development portfolio which will involve effective relationship management with key stakeholders to manage the implementation and report on projects, courses and careers support while being responsible for budgets and resources.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
-development and management of online and face to face education courses, careers support, revalidation and CPD
-working with SMEs, project teams and other stakeholders to deliver the programme of work with a project management approach and ensuring processes for evaluation
-development of a collaborative approach between different teams
-developing business cases for new education and professional development projects proposals
-reporting on progress and producing papers for internal and external committees in relation to Education and Professional Development activities
-Managing and developing the team consisting of Education and Professional Development Leads, Coordinators and Assistants.
To be considered, you should have:
-experience managing and developing professional development projects including educational design and delivery
-exceptional project management experience including managing budgets
-experience using e-learning/web-based platforms and online learning solutions
-Line management experience
