A membership organisation based in London is seeking a Diversity Manager to join the organisation and lead on the diversity strategy which was put in place in 2015. The successful candidate will have a strong background within diversity and equality and will have worked within a membership focused organisation.
Main duties for the Diversity Manager:
Design, develop and manage the successful delivery of activities and projects under the diversity strategy
Liaising and influencing at senior level
Delivering a programme of diversity events and activities
Writing the annual diversity data report
Ensure evaluation methods are employed for all diversity and inclusion activities
Provide guidance to the diversity committee into a strategic plan for the section
Essential criteria for the Diversity Manager:
Understanding of the Equality Act 2010 and relevant sections of the Data Protection Act 1998
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Experience of working with committees
Ability to deliver complex projects
