A private university are now looking for a Disability Support and Inclusion Officer. This role will contribute to a student-centred guidance service and specialist advice where you will maintain your own case load.

As the Disability Support and Inclusion Officer, you will be providing administrative support for reasonable adjustments. In addition, you will also be providing advice and assistance for individual applicants as well as current students, overseeing arrangements for their support.

Other responsibilities include working in a way that demonstrates the University's commitment to Equality and Diversity for staff, and students. You will also ensure that all activities are in compliance with the University's regulations and requirements. In this role you will also be working collaboratively with the members of the Disability Support and Inclusion Service team.

To be successful in this role you will have relevant experience of supporting learning for students in schools, further education, or higher education. You may have also supported students in the capacity of support work and have knowledge of disabilities. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint, databases and web applications would also be essential.

It would be advantageous but not essential if you have had experience of using student records databases in a higher education institute in a similar role.
