The TPP Fundraising and Development team are supporting a national Children's charity with the search to a Director of Supporter Communities and Groups vacancy. This new post will play an integral role in helping the charity to embed it's transformational new supporter engagement strategy. You will be an active member of the divisional management team, leading and motivating a talented team of c25 people.

This role will hold responsibility for ensuring that a strategic approach is taken to engaging supporter communities and groups. Your work will include setting overall strategic priorities and targets, and oversight of the different types of relationship that grow community support. You will provide strategic leadership of the supporter stewardship programme - including those which progress from personalised supporter journeys through to those organised as a group. Finally, you will oversee supporter care, including legacies.

In order to be considered for this fantastic role, you will be an outstanding leader with the ability to challenge, motivate and inspire managers, staff and volunteers (based throughout the UK). You will possess very strong interpersonal skills and have detailed knowledge of the key issues affecting supporter engagement. You will have an understanding of supporter journeys, lifetime value and stewardship strategies, and have a substantial track record of translating this knowledge into highly personal and strategic relationships with key supporters.
