TPP are delighted to be working with a trust that support people with learning disabilities. They have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Social Enterprises to join the team.

This role could suit someone that has managed muiltiple cafe's/restaurants. This role will cover the New Forest. The trust have a lot of green space with eatery places on site.

You will have 4 direct reports including Head gardener, Tea Rooms Manager, Hospitality Manager and Farm Manager. You will report directly into the CEO.

60% of your time will be onsite and 40% will be working from home.

Do you have proven experience as a Commercial Director or other relevant role, particularly in customer service organisations with an element of food & beverage provision? If yes this could be the role for you.

This role will provide a sustained focus on the Trust's main social enterprises in order to develop and deliver commercially viable social enterprises that also provide training and employment opportunities to people with learning disabilities and other additional needs. In developing successful social enterprises and modelling inclusive communities, the Director of Social Enterprises will help to break down barriers and perceptions about what can be achieved by people with additional needs and importantly, provide a positive financial contribution to the operations of the Trust.

This 'triple bottom line' will ensure a first-rate offering to the attendees and the local authorities with which you deal, as well as an increase in levels of income with which to invest in the furthering of charitable objectives.

In time, the role may also take on the leadership of the Trust's Step Up For Work programme, which helps prepare people with learning disability for employment through training, development of work skills and creating partnerships with progressive employers.
